So, I recently took the plunge and got myself a Stromberg Carlson EHS-102 Trailer Tray, and let me tell you, it has transformed my camping experience from “Where did I put that?” to “Look at all this space!” If you’re like me and tend to pack everything but the kitchen sink when you hit the road, this tray is an absolute game-changer.

First off, let’s talk about installation. I was mildly terrified that I’d need a degree in rocket science to put this bad boy on, but to my surprise, it was about as easy as pie. Seriously, I had it installed quicker than my coffee brewed in the morning (and if you know me, that’s saying a lot!). The included instruction manual was actually usable—no hieroglyphics involved.

Once it was secured, I started packing my usual camping gear—cooler, grill, a surprisingly large number of chairs (you never know who might drop by for s’mores, right?). The tray held everything like a champ. My cooler was a little hefty, but the tray didn’t even flinch. And let’s just say my friends were pretty jealous of my newfound cargo space.

Now, for the fun part—actual camping! Picture this: we pull up to the campsite, and I efficiently unload from the back of my trailer without playfully tossing items to each other like we’re in an impromptu game of catch. This is the kind of smooth operation that makes you feel like a seasoned pro, not just some weekend warrior. I had plenty of space for food prep, and I didn’t have to keep teetering on the edge of the trailer trying to grab stuff. It helped keep everything organized, and after a while, I started feeling like the “designated unloading expert.”

Of course, nothing’s perfect, right? I will say that I had to be careful about the weight distribution. If I loaded it up with bricks instead of camping gear, I could have turned into a trailer rollercoaster! Also, don’t forget to check the recommended weight limits. I learned that the hard way with bags of dog food that thought they were on vacation, too.

So, that’s my experience with the Stromberg Carlson EHS-102 Trailer Tray! Have any of you guys used it as well? Share your stories, or even your mishaps—I need to know I’m not the only one who accidentally packed an entire year’s worth of snacks for a weekend trip! Any tips or tricks you discovered while using it? Let’s hear all about it!
