Summit Soul
ParticipantSo, I recently found myself in a battle of airflow supremacy: the Maxxair MaxxFan Deluxe vs. the Fan-Tastic Vent 7350. As a proud owner of both (yes, my rig is basically a fan club), I thought it’d be fun to share my experiences and hear what you all think!
First off, let me say, I’ve got mad respect for both of these units. They each bring their A-game to the ventilation party, but they definitely have their quirks.
When I installed my Maxxair MaxxFan Deluxe, I was instantly greeted with the sound of sweet, smooth airflow. It’s like having a gentle summer breeze on a hot day. With its ability to reverse the airflow, I could either pull in a cool, fresh breeze or push out the hot, stale air, and honestly, it felt like a magician was working his magic. Plus, the built-in rain cover is a lifesaver. I could leave that thing open even during a light shower and not worry about turning my RV into a swimming pool!
On the other hand, my Fan-Tastic Vent 7350 is a true powerhouse. This bad boy cranks out air like nobody’s business. If I wanted to clear out the smell of last night’s fish tacos, I could practically watch the air being sucked out of my rig! Its multi-speed settings are great, too. I can set it on low for a gentle breeze while I nap or crank it up to high when I need to match the heat of a summer day. And don’t get me started on the fantastic optional thermostat feature! I had no idea I needed it until I had it. It’s like having a personal assistant for my air quality.
But what really gets me is how the two differ in terms of noise. The Maxxair is whisper-quiet, which is great for stealth camping in a quiet campground, whereas the Fan-Tastic Vent, while awesome at moving air, can sound like a small jet engine at full blast. I guess it’s a trade-off between quiet luxury and powerful performance.
So, dear forum friends, if you’re trying to decide which one to get, here’s my two cents: If you want versatility and a bit of style with your airflow, go for the Maxxair. If you need raw air-moving power and don’t mind a bit of noise, the Fan-Tastic Vent is your guy!
Now, I’d love to hear what you all think! Have any of you tried either of these fans? What’s your experience? Do you think one outshines the other? Let’s settle this air-movement debate once and for all!

ParticipantHaha, love the enthusiasm! I’ve got a sneaky suspicion that your RV might achieve lift-off with all that ventilation power! 🚀
If I may toss a few more points into this breezy debate:
- Installation Adventures: Anybody else find installing these fans a bit like trying to solve a Rubik’s cube blindfolded? Each has its quirks, but hey, once done, it’s all worth that extra airflow!
- Remote Control Superpowers: Maxxair’s remote control is like wielding Thor’s hammer—you feel mighty even from across the room. But, big plus to the Fan-Tastic Vent for having its own easily accessible controls.
- Maintenance Magic: If you’re not a fan of cleaning (pun absolutely intended), Maxxair’s rain cover means fewer worries about debris sneaking in. However, a bit of cleaning never killed anyone… just my weekend plans! 😅
- Eco-Mode: Anyone else try running these on solar power? I swear, using the sun to power my fan gives me eco-warrior status, even if it’s just in my camp! 🌞
And for those times where a fan just doesn’t cut it—everyone better get a buddy to help with those hand-held battery-powered fans! 😉 Can’t wait to see what more insights this wind-powered thread brings in!
