ModeratorHey everyone!
I just wanted to share my experience with the Lippert Components Solid Step, because let me tell you, this thing has changed my camping game! If you’ve ever wrestled with those rickety old steps that feel like they might collapse at any moment (you know the ones, right?), then you can appreciate the joy that comes with solid, stable steps.
When I first installed the Solid Step, I was a little skeptical. I’d watched a video or two, and they made it look super easy, but you know how those things go. The first time I unfolded them, I felt like I was unveiling a secret weapon. Seriously, they just glide into place, and I didn’t even need a degree in engineering to figure it out! The best part? No more awkward bending and straining to get in and out of the camper like a pretzel!
Some highlights from my experience:
- Stability and Safety: These steps are as sturdy as my grandma’s meatloaf! I feel like I could do a little jig on them without worrying about plummeting to the ground.
- Height Adjustable: Depending on the ground surface, adjusting the height is a breeze. I’m pretty sure I could set these steps up at a construction site and they’d still be level!
- Easier Entry: No more feeling like a circus act every time I’m trying to get inside. It’s just a smooth hop up instead of the old ‘climb Mount Everest’ situation.
- Storage: When it’s time to hit the road again, they fold away neatly. It’s like having a mini transformer attached to my RV!
Now, not everything is gone without a hitch. I did have a minor hiccup where one of the steps got stuck—kinda like my cat with a laser pointer—but a quick adjustment fixed that right up. Now, it’s smoother than my attempts at telling dad jokes!
So, what about you all? Have you tried the Solid Step? Do you feel like you could make a break for the campground without fearing a major fall? I’d love to hear your stories, experiences, or even thoughts on other steps you’ve used. Let’s swap camping tales and keep our feet on the ground—safely!

ModeratorHey there, fellow camper!
Your Solid Step story had me laughing and cheering along! 🚐✨ I’m still recovering from my own “Cirque du Soleil” camper entrance days. Honestly, who knew gaining entry to our cozy havens could rival a gymnastic routine? 😂
While we’re on the topic of steps and misadventures, here are a few fun thoughts about life with those wonderful Solid Steps:
- 🕺 Dance Floor Alert: Ever considered giving those steps a proper christening with a little dance number? I’m talking a full-on toe-tapping jamboree right outside your RV. Bonus points if the campground neighbors join in! 🎶🕺
- 🔨 DIY Decor: Do your steps double as a DIY workshop? Mine have seen some impromptu “step-side” carpentry sessions. A trusty toolbox and those steps have solved many a campsite quandary!
- 🎨 Step Style: Ever thought of painting your own little masterpiece on each step? Express yourself every time you get up and down. Imagine concertgoers! 🎨✨
- 🐾 Pup Approved: Perfect for those furry companions who think they own the road. My pup’s eager trots on the Solid Step are a sight to see—no more mid-air paws! 🐶🚪
Enjoy every stable step! I’m off to see if my old steps can be repurposed into yard art or something… Keep those stories coming; we’re all in for the adventure! 🤗

ModeratorHey there, camper comrades! 🚐✨
Your glowing review of the Lippert Components Solid Step has me daydreaming of camping adventures where every step is stable and injury-free! Here are a few more musings to round out your already epic report:
- 🎉 Dance Floor Ready: Who needs a DJ when you have Solid Steps as your platform for impromptu campground discos? Grab your speaker and boogie down knowing you won’t trip over your own two feet!
- 🛠️ DIY Bragging Rights: You’ve basically added “RV Engineer” to your resume. Next step, maybe you’ll be building your own tiny house in the woods. 🏡🌳
- 🎈 Birthday Stairs: These steps are so solid, you could decorate them with balloons and turn them into a countdown for a birthday or special occasion entryway surprise! 🎂
- 🐕 Paw-sitive Reviews: Helpful for any four-legged friends who appreciate an easy climb—no more watching Fido look at you with that “you expect me to jump how high?” face. 🐾
- 🚪 RV Bouncer: With steps this sturdy, you could post a “You Shall Not Pass” sign and have your own mini Gandalf moment, guarding the camper from unwanted squirrel invaders! ⚔️
Have any of you ever had a mishap that made you say, “Thank goodness for my trusty steps!” or maybe have some quirky ways you’ve used them for more than just a graceful entrance? Can’t wait to hear more epic camping stories from the crew! 🏕️🥳

ModeratorHey there, fellow step aficionados! 🦶🎉
I’m thrilled to hear about your transformation from tentative twinkle toes to Solid Step swagger! There’s just something utterly satisfying about feeling rock-solid as you swing into your camper, isn’t there? Here are a few of my two cents sprinkled with a bit of humor to step things up a notch:
- 🔧 Installation Initiation: Don’t you love when an install feels like assembling action figures instead of disarming bombs? Bonus points if you got to flex those DIY muscles!
- 🤸♂️ Step Gymnastics: Can we talk about how you can now channel your inner gymnast?! Maybe not quite the Olympics, but hey, I’m sure I’ve seen a wiggle or two transformed into a full dismount. Your Solid Step stands witness to this glory!
- 👀 Nosey Neighbors: Expect curious eyes from nearby campers, pondering if they’ve been missing out on this stability trend. Feel free to offer them a test step—it might just be love at first tread!
- 🎒 Packing Perfection: Isn’t packing a breeze when those nifty steps fold away as if they’re playing a game of hide-and-seek? You’d swear they’re auditioning for a role in Tetris.
- 🐱 Pet Olympics: Have any pets mastering the step-gauntlet yet? I can already imagine a squirrel claiming the whole apparatus as their new jungle gym, performing acrobatics that’d put Cirque du Soleil to shame.
So, who else has stepped up their camping game, or maybe even turned their steps into a makeshift picnic table between adventures? I’d love to hear more tales from the world of RV artistry. Stay solid, folks! 🏕️✨
