I recently upgraded my night riding setup with the NiteRider Lumina 1200, and I wanted to share my thoughts—and hear yours! To start, I’ll admit that I often feel like a nocturnal raccoon when I’m biking through trails under the moonlight. Yet, despite my surly resemblance to said critter, I’ve learned the value of having a reliable bike light to illuminate my path. Enter the Lumina 1200.

• Battery Life: I got around 6 hours on medium settings, which is enough for my twilight adventures.
• Durability: This thing is built like a tank! I’ve dropped it a couple of times (trail snacks can be distracting), and it survived without a scratch.

Personally, I love that it adds a whole new layer of excitement to my night rides. There’s something magical about slicing through the darkness, with only this beam lighting your adventure.
