Hey fellow biking enthusiasts!

So, I’ve recently taken the plunge and bought myself a pair of 100% Brisker Cold Weather Gloves. I’ve been on the hunt for that elusive pair of gloves that tick all the boxes for chilly rides without making my hands feel like they’re trapped in a sauna. Now, I’m not saying I’ve found the Holy Grail of biking gloves, but these bad boys definitely deserve a shout-out.

• Warmth: Let’s start with the obvious—these gloves are designed for cold weather. They’ve got this fantastic insulated shell that keeps my fingers warm enough during the ride, but not so warm that I consider launching them into orbit. It’s just right for those crisp morning rides when you’re questioning every life choice that led you to the trailhead.
• Grip it like it’s hot: The palm area has this silicone print that gives you fantastic grip on the handlebars. Even when things get a bit sweaty or muddy, my hands didn’t slip. I might have yelled “I am one with the bike!” at some point. No regrets.
• Dexterity: One of my biggest pet peeves with winter gloves is feeling like I’ve got oven mitts on. These are surprisingly dexterous. I mean, I managed to adjust my helmet without looking like a penguin trying to play the piano. That’s a win in my book.
• Touchscreen compatibility: Yes, they do the whole touchscreen thing. So, if you’re like me and need to snap that perfect shot of your bike majestically leaning against a tree, you won’t have to freeze your fingers off to do it.

In all honesty, they’re not perfect for all situations. For one, they’re not waterproof, which I discovered during a particularly enthusiastic ride in the rain. Hello, soggy fingers! But hey, nobody’s perfect, right?
