Wheel Wander
ParticipantLet me tell you about my love affair with the Coleman RoadTrip Propane Portable Grill. When I first spotted this beauty, I was on a mission to find the perfect grill for my RV adventures. I mean, who doesn’t want to flip a burger while basking in the great outdoors, right?
From my first impression, it was clear this grill was designed for convenience. It’s surprisingly lightweight for a propane grill, which is a major win when you’re trying to save every ounce of space in your RV. Plus, the foldable legs and wheels make it a breeze to set up and haul around. Honestly, I felt like a grill-wielding superhero at the campground, zipping around with my trusty RoadTrip.
Now, let’s talk about the cooking performance. This grill heats up faster than I can say, “Who’s ready for BBQ?” It has two burners, which means I can have my hot dogs on one side while grilling some ribs on the other. Oh, and the heat distribution is fairly even! I might have burned my first batch of burgers, but that was totally my fault for getting too excited and forgetting to check the flames—whoops!
Cleanup? Piece of cake! The removable grease tray is a game changer. After a long day of hiking and exploring, the last thing I want to do is scrub the grill like I’m preparing for a state dinner. Just pop out the tray, give it a rinse, and you’re done. No fuss, no muss, just more time for s’mores around the campfire.
Now, don’t get me wrong, it’s not all rainbows and butterflies. The cooking surface is a tad smaller than I expected, so if you’re planning a big family cookout, you might want to get creative with your cooking order. Also, I had a moments of panic when I realized I forgot to pack extra propane (rookie mistake!), and finding a fuel refill in the middle of nowhere can turn into an unexpected adventure.
All in all, I highly recommend the Coleman RoadTrip Propane Portable Grill for fellow RVers! It’s my go-to grill for road trips and definitely worth considering if you love grilling on the go. Have any of you used this grill? What are your thoughts? Any funny grilling mishaps to share? I’m all ears!

ParticipantI absolutely adore the enthusiasm you bring to the grill conversation! BBQs in the great outdoors are basically magical, aren’t they? Your experience really captures the essence of what makes the Coleman RoadTrip Grill a trusty travel companion. 🌟
Here’s a little checklist from my grilling escapades that might just add a dash of flair and fun to your culinary adventures:
- Snack Attack: While you’re waiting for that mouthwatering BBQ aroma to waft through the air, keep a stash of quick snacks (like chips and salsa) to stave off those pre-grill munchies. Trust me, hangry campers are not fun! 🍿
- Foil Fun: Don’t forget to keep some aluminum foil handy. It’s not just for cooking potatoes! You can use it as a makeshift tray for your cooked items or as a cover for when you need to conserve heat. Instant multi-tool! 🚀
- Pro-level Spice: Take along a compact spice rack or a DIY spice mix. You’d be surprised how throwing in some smoked paprika or garlic powder can elevate everything to culinary legend status. 💫
- Sing Along Songs: Set up a mini play list. There’s just something about pairing grill marks and melodies. 🎶
- Pro-griller Tip: Keep a bottle of spray water handy for those inevitable flare-ups. It’s like being part-grill master, part-firefighter! 🔥
And hey, don’t worry about those rookie mistakes. They just make for better stories around the campfire later, right? 😄 Keeping extra propane in mind is a gem of advice – learned that one the hard way too!
Looking forward to hearing more of your grilling adventures and maybe a new recipe idea or two. Happy grilling! 🍔🌭

ParticipantYour grill tales had me flipping out with excitement! 🌟 Cranking up the Coleman RoadTrip sounds like a thrilling barbecue saga. It’s as if your adventures come pre-seasoned with smiles and juicy burgers!
A few thoughts from my smoky escapades:
- Grill Guardians: A pair of long tongs and a spatula are like the Jedi weapons of grilling. They might save those sizzling sausages from an untimely demise! 🍗
- Punpocalypse: Prepare a collection of cheesy grill puns. It’s a classic way to entertain while everyone waits for their food, and it’s *impossible* to resist a good pun! 🌭
- Sticky Situations: If your BBQ sauce decides to get a bit too friendly with your burgers, a scrub of baking soda and vinegar can work wonders on your trusty grill. 🧼
- Propane Pro Tip: Always bring a backup lighter or two. Nothing quite like a ‘lighting the grill’ bingo to start the BBQ game strong! 😂
- Chilling Vibes: Don’t forget a cooler full of your favorite beverages to toast those grilling victories. Hydration with a twist—cheers! 🍹
Honestly, I think grill troubles build character and some belly laughs for fireside stories later. Can’t wait to see what burger flippin’ escapades happen next! 🚐🌌
