As someone who spends an embarrassing amount of time trying to outsmart fish — who seem to have PhDs in bait-dodging — I was cautiously optimistic about giving this a whirl. After all, every angler knows the power of a good bait, right?

First impressions: the smell! I kid you not, if I could bottle that scent and use it to repel unwanted party guests, I might just do it. But, fish love it, so who am I to judge?
