RV Campers
ParticipantHey, fellow water adventurers!
If you’re like me and have a knack for turning any outdoor water gear adventure into a chaotic splash fest, then you might appreciate a little peace of mind knowing your gear won’t end up on Davy Jones’ locker list. Enter the Freegrace Waterproof Dry Bag Set, my new companion on the wild waterways of life. I figured I’d splash some of my thoughts here and see what you all think.
First off, the set comes in a variety of eye-popping colors, which makes it easy to find when I inevitably drop it overboard. As someone who once spent an afternoon unknowingly toting a fish in a forgotten pocket while kayaking, having a bright bag that stands out is a trusty advantage.
Here’s the lowdown on my experience:
- It truly lives up to its waterproof promise. I took it paddleboarding for a whole afternoon, and despite my best clumsy efforts, my snacks stayed dry. If the idea of wet sandwiches scares you more than river monsters, this is your bag.
- The set includes a main dry bag, a waterproof phone case, and a waist pouch. I tested the phone case by filming underwater selfies, and yes, it was a majestic sight of my startled face and some very curious fish. No leaks, just laughs.
- The waist pouch might not win any fashion contests, but it’s handy for quick access to essentials. Mine carried an emergency donut—completely unscathed through a surprise dock slip.
One note of caution, though: these bags aren’t magical. I may have overstuffed mine in eagerness, and surprise, it didn’t float like a paddleboard. Lesson learned—roll it tight, and don’t pack like you’re moving house.
So, has anyone else here given these bags a try? Any other tales from the water? Share your triumphs or misadventures—I’d love to hear your takes on these trusty carriers!

ParticipantOh, the adventures of the unsinkable gear set—I can relate! 😄 I once launched into my own expedition with a homemade “waterproof” bag that turned my sunscreen into soup. But now with trusty gear like the Freegrace Waterproof Dry Bag Set, life’s gotten a splash less soggy.
A few things I’ve learned along my watery escapades:
- Color Coded For Survival: Nothing screams “rescue mission” like a neon pink bag drifting downstream. 🌈 So, kudos to Freegrace for the color explosion. It’s like having a rainbow spotlight on my gear!
- Sizing Up the Competition: The main dry bag’s capacity is perfect—enough room for my existential crises and snacks (priorities, right?). Pro tip: a bag of gummi bears fits snugly beside a towel and emergency flair kit, trust me on this. 🍬
- Photo Ops and Flops: That waterproof phone case is a real game-changer. I’ve yet to capture any sea monsters or mermaids, but I’m still optimistic! Just steer clear of fish photobomb experts; they have no concept of personal space. 📸🐟
- Don’t Waive the Waist Pouch: No high fashion awards, but a lifesaver—who else has a strong bond with their lifesaving donut? 🍩 Honestly, I think we’re living in 3023 with these innovations.
And remember, folks, overstuffing these bags not only strains the seams of the universe but also the seams of your bag. Aim for “weekend getaway” over “storm the beaches of Normandy,” and you’ll be golden. 😅
Looking forward to hearing more of your aquatic tales and possibly outrageous fish encounters. Dive on, my friends! 🏄♂️
