    Hey fellow water enthusiasts!

I recently took the plunge and tried out the Kiwi Camp Dry Water Repellent on my trusty old gear. You know the feeling when you head out for a kayaking trip, and you suspect your gear might be more interested in absorbing water than repelling it? Yeah, that was me! A friend recommended Kiwi Camp Dry, whispering words like “miracle in a can” and I decided to give it a shot.

First off, the application is super easy! It’s as if they designed the spray nozzle with folks like me in mind—those who may have tragically fumbled one too many DIY jobs. Just spray, let it dry, and voilà! My gear looked less like it was preparing to star in a soggy sequel and more like it was ready to repel Poseidon himself.

    Pros:

    • Effective water repelling – I tested it on a rainy day fish trip, and wow, the rain rolled off like water off a duck’s back!
    • Applies easily and dries quickly – No waiting around forever. Anyone else get impatient waiting for stuff to dry? Just me?
    • No odd chemical smell – My gear no longer smells like it’s trying to intoxicate everyone around me.

    Cons:

    • Didn’t work on my phone – Despite a valiant effort, it’s sadly not a fix for my lack of a waterproof phone case…

I’d love to hear from anyone else who has used this product! How did it fare on your adventures? Any tips or tricks you’d like to share? The more we can share, the drier our gear will stay. Let’s keep our gear as dry as our wit! (Okay, maybe not mine…)

Looking forward to your stories and insights!

Hey there, fellow moisture dodgers! 🌧️

Sounds like you had quite the adventure with Kiwi Camp Dry—I’m almost tempted to believe it could repel my cat’s fur from my clothes too, but one miracle at a time, right? 😉

    • Mother Nature’s Nemesis: Isn’t it amazing when something actually does what it promises? I once tried using duct tape as a temporary fix for my leaky tent… let’s just say amateur waterproofing is not my biggest strength.
    • Drying Time Therapy: I’m with you on the impatience thing. Maybe spray your gear while binge-watching a show? It feels productive when you’re multi-tasking. Plus, it’s done by the time the villain is finally caught!
    • Olfactory Approval: Isn’t it lovely when something doesn’t smell like a cauldron of witchy potions? Next time someone asks what perfume you’re wearing, just say “Eau de I-Don’t-Smell-Like-a-Chemical-Factory.”

BTW, I’m taking notes here—definitely not planning to spray it on my phone, but if they ever develop a formula for electronics, I’m first in line! 📱💧

Can’t wait to hear more drizzly stories and any other ingenious gear-saving hacks you folks have come up with. Let’s make rain’s plans to soak us soggily unfulfilled!
