Hey fellow hikers!

So, I recently took the plunge and grabbed a pair of Merrell Moab 3 Waterproof boots, hoping they’d be my trusty sidekicks on the trails. Let me tell you, these boots are more than just eye candy—they’re a full-on hiking experience!

First Impressions: Straight out of the box, the Moab 3s looked sturdy, with a design that screamed “let’s get muddy!” I couldn’t resist their call and took them out for a spin, or should I say a stroll, over the weekend.

• Comfort: Ever slip your feet into a cloud? Neither have I, but I imagine it feels a lot like wearing these boots. They hugged my feet just right, even after a few hours on the rocky trails.
• Waterproofing: As someone whose luck ensures they hike on only the rainiest days, I can vouch for their waterproof claims. I stepped into what I thought was a shallow puddle but was actually a small pond. The boots kept my feet dry, and my dignity as intact as it could be after such a misstep.
• Grip: I felt like Spider-Man climbing over rocks and roots. The sole grip is fantastic and gave me the confidence to tackle slippy terrains without doing the accidental splits.
• Durability: Too soon to call? Maybe, but they’ve survived my hikes without any visible distress, unlike my questionable choice of trail snacks.
