Hey fellow hiking enthusiasts! 🌲

So, I recently took the plunge and bought the NEMO Disco 15 Sleeping Bag for my last wilderness adventure, and I must say it felt like sleeping in a marshmallow cocoon! Now, I’m not a Snow White or anything, but I do enjoy a good night’s sleep, especially after a day of dodging mosquitos and pretending I’m a wilderness expert.

First Impressions:

• Weight: At first, I was a bit worried it might weigh down my backpack. But surprisingly, it was lighter than the existential dread I carry every day.
• Packing: Not gonna lie, stuffing it back into the sack was like trying to put on jeans after a big meal—but doable!
• Color: Bright and cheerful! If I ever get lost, I’m confident they’d find me just based on the glowing hue.

Performance on the Trail:

I tested this beauty during a chilly night in the Rockies, where I typically transform into a human icicle. Not this time though! This bag kept me as snug as a bug in a rug.

Quirks:

• Side Sleeper Heaven: If you’re a side sleeper like me, this bag’s got you! It felt like it was giving my side-sleeping self a warm hug.
• Zipper: Quite smooth but I did have a bit of a tangle-tango moment around 3 AM in my half-asleep state. Thank goodness they didn’t score that as an Olympic sport.
