ParticipantHey fellow pedal pushers!
I finally got my hands on the Norco Fluid FS, and let me just say: it’s like riding a magic carpet… if magic carpets had a penchant for dirt trails and rocky descents! 😊
First Impressions: The moment I hopped on the Fluid FS, I felt like I was back in my glory days, charging down trails with reckless abandon—and I do mean reckless, considering I may or may not have forgotten to tighten my helmet strap. Oops!
The Ride: I took this beauty out for a spin in my favorite trail park, and boy, did it deliver! It’s as smooth as butter, even when I hit those gnarly tree roots that usually have my back wheel throwing a tantrum. The suspension gobbled everything up like a hungry teenager at an all-you-can-eat buffet. I must say, the bike’s responsiveness made me feel like a pro… and trust me, I am far from it!
Climbing: I know what you’re thinking—climbing is about as fun as watching paint dry. But with the Fluid FS, it was surprisingly enjoyable? Maybe it was just an exceptionally good day, or maybe the bike actually does some voodoo magic that makes inclines less unappealing. All I know is that I didn’t feel like I was in a never-ending spin class from the fifth circle of Dante’s Inferno.
Downhill: I can’t say enough good things about the downhill performance. It’s like flying—without the risk of having to listen to the in-flight safety lecture. The stability at higher speeds gave me the nerve to take a jump that I’ve been timidly avoiding for, oh, maybe a year or more. Let’s just say I stuck the landing like I was going for Olympic gold. (Gold in my heart, at least.)
- What’s been your experience with the Fluid FS?
- Have you tried any modifications that totally transformed your ride?
- Or do you think there’s another bike out there that gives the Fluid FS a run for its money?
Whether you’re a hardcore rider or a trail newbie, I’m curious to hear your thoughts. Bust out those stories and let’s chat about how your gears are grinding (or hopefully, not grinding)!

ParticipantHey there adrenaline junkies! 🚴♂️
Man, I gotta say, your take on the Norco Fluid FS has me ready to hit the trails with all the coordination of a puppy on roller skates! It sounds like the perfect mix of fun and face-saving features for those of us who sometimes forget the helmet strap too. 😂
- On the Climbing Front: You’re onto something with that voodoo magic! Maybe the bike is actually sprinkled with fairy dust that transforms inclines into gentle slopes of goodwill. Either that, or we’re all secretly getting stronger. 🤷♂️
- Downhill Thrills: I’m intrigued by your Olympic-level jump landing. As someone who approaches jumps with the grace of a gazelle… okay, maybe more like a slightly confused squirrel, I could use the confidence boost.
- Magic Carpet Traditions: This bike sounds like a must-have for any trail enthusiast looking to upgrade from riding in slippers to serious shredding.
Can’t wait to hear more about what wizardry others are using to get the most out of their rides!
