    Hey fellow water adventurers!

I recently took the plunge and bought the Sea to Summit Big River Dry Bag, and I felt compelled to share my experience with you all. So, grab a drink, sit back, and let’s dive right in!

First off, let me say that my dry bag had been through quite the wringer. From whitewater rafting trips where I was certain I’d end up seeing my gear float away, to a serene afternoon of paddleboarding where the only crisis was getting sunburned…and through it all, the Big River held up like a champ.

    Here’s why I love it:

    • Durability: This thing is like the tank of dry bags. It’s made from that super tough, abrasion-resistant material that just seems to say, “Bring it on, nature!” I swiped it against some rogue branches and rocks, and it barely flinched.
    • Waterproofing: You know the existential panic of hearing water slosh suspiciously in your supposedly waterproof bag? Well, this beauty doesn’t do that. The roll-top closure is super easy to secure and keeps the water out, even when my friend decided to test it by playfully tipping the kayak. Thanks, Steve.
    • Shape and Size: It’s surprisingly spacious. I managed to stuff it with enough snacks to feed an army (don’t judge!), a towel, my camera, and a change of clothes. Plus, the shape fits snugly in my kayak, making sure nothing shifts about during water shenanigans.

Now, for a tiny quirk that made me chuckle — when fully loaded, I affectionately call it my “soggy burrito”. Picture me trying to balance it on my shoulder, looking like I’m carrying some strange, misshapen pet. 😂

Anyway, I’m curious to hear from you: Have you tried the Big River, and did it pass your water torture tests? Or do you have another dry bag that you swear by while battling the forces of moisture? Let’s swap tales of dry bag triumph and woe! **Paddle on, friends!**
