Hey fellow adventurers!

So, I recently took the plunge and invested in the Tarptent Double Rainbow. Spoiler alert: camping will never be the same again! Picture this—I’m lounging under the stars, snug as a bug, in what feels like my own portable fortress. It’s like I became one with nature, but with fewer bug bites.

• Setup: If you’ve ever wrestled with a tent in gale-force winds, you’re going to love this. Setting up the Double Rainbow was smoother than my hiking playlist. With just two trekking poles and a bit of enthusiasm, it’s up and ready faster than you can say, “Where’s my trail mix?”
• Space: At first, I was skeptical about the whole “double” thing—would I really have enough room for me and my hiking buddy-finally-found-another-human-alive, Dave? Turns out, it’s spacious enough for both of us and my plush teddy bear who never misses a trip. #priorities
• Weather Resistance: Ever played the game, “Is that thunder or an angry squirrel?” Well, the Double Rainbow isn’t fazed by either. It held up beautifully during a surprise downpour. My socks, however, weren’t so lucky when I left them out to dry. Pro tip: don’t do that.
• Ventilation and Comfort: I woke up without feeling like a steamed dumpling, which is a first for me in the summer months. Plenty of airflow, yet cozy enough that I almost overslept our morning hike.

Funny side note: On my first night trying out the tent, I woke up to a very curious raccoon peeking inside. He didn’t leave a review but did leave a paw print!
