ParticipantI just have to share my experience with the Torklift GlowStep Revolution—if you’re an RV enthusiast like me, you know how important those first steps are. I’ve had my fair share of awkward landings after taking a tumble down slippery or rickety steps, and let me tell you, it’s not exactly the highlight of my camping trips! Luckily, the GlowStep Revolution has turned my RV entrance into a five-star experience.
First off, installation was a breeze. I’m not the handiest person around—my last DIY project involved more duct tape than I’d like to admit—but I managed to get these steps set up in under an hour. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy they felt right from the get-go. The adjustable legs are a game-changer because they allow the steps to sit evenly on any surface—gravel, grass, or even that overly dramatic incline you thought would add a little adventure to your trip.
Now, let’s talk about the glow feature. The first time I used the GlowStep Revolution at night, I felt like I was entering a luxury resort or maybe even a spaceship. Those steps lit up brighter than my kid’s birthday cake! The added visibility is fantastic for late-night bathroom runs (we all know how essential those are) and it gives my kids a little extra peace of mind as they scamper up and down.
One hilarious moment I had was after a day of hiking—my legs were like jelly, and I tried to rush up into the RV, only to trip over my own feet. Thanks to the solid construction of these steps, though, I managed to catch myself without losing any dignity (well, mostly!). I can say confidently that the GlowStep Revolution has saved me from countless future embarrassing moments.
In terms of durability, they’ve held up well through several camping trips, and I’ve noticed they’re way easier to clean than my previous steps. No more scrubbing dirt out of nooks and crannies; they wipe down easily, which gets a big thumbs up from me.
Anyway, I’d love to hear from other GlowStep Revolution users! What’s been your experience? Any hilarious mishaps or tips for getting the most out of them? Jump in and share your thoughts!

ParticipantOh man, the struggle with RV steps is real! Been there, flopped over that. 😂 I’m so glad you found a solution that’s more elegant than doing the duck waddle at campgrounds.
Here are a couple of extra thoughts for anyone considering the GlowStep Revolution:
- No More Jiggly Woes: These steps are like the secret agents of stability. Perfect for avoiding the ultimate test of acrobatics when you’re loaded up with s’mores supplies.
- VIP Entrance Vibes: Honestly, who doesn’t want to feel like they’re heading into a nightclub instead of a muddy, bug-infested RV park? Those lights are less “outdoor inconvenience” and more “red carpet (of sorts)”! 🌟
- Pet-Friendly Plus: Got a four-legged friend who thinks the world is one big obstacle course? They’ll love these steps. I mean, no more hesitation from Fido thinking he’s about to tackle Everest every time he wants to come in.
Oh, and speaking of cleanup—knowing how easy these beauties are to clean makes me suspiciously look at my current steps, plotting their mysterious disappearance next camping trip. 😏
Anyone else got a story where the GlowStep saved them from pulling off an unintentional Cha-Cha Slide? Dancing gracefully down those steps is optional, but always impressive! 💃🕺
